Current Announcements

We are now meeting in the Sanctuary, requesting all to be masked. Hopefully this will change soon.

We currently are gathering at 10:00 am.  We were going to return to two services in September but that is now on hold (again).  We are now holding a single service at 10:00 am and we will alternate between a Faith Contemporary service and Faith Traditional service. Traditional services on Oct 3, 17, 31, Nov 14, 28 and Contemporary on Sep 26, Oct 10, 24, Nov 7 and 21.

Any questions, please contact us at or 757-686-0468

Faith Lutheran has fixed expenses that continue even if we are unable to meet and pass the collection plate.  Mailed checks or checks dropped off at the church office are always welcome but another method is becoming popular during the current health crisis.  We participate in Vanco's Simply Giving which allows for online giving.  It is available as an App (Give+) for both Android and Apple devices.  Contributions can be set on a variety of schedules ranging from one-time to weekly in an amount of your choosing and you can direct your donation to a variety of uses from General Budget to VBS.  Frank Brown will be able to provide you with an instruction sheet for the mobile apps and clicking on the link below will take you to our electronic giving web page.  Please consider this option and do not hesitate to send me an email ( if you have additional questions.  Thanks

Thank you to all who helped with baking of Communion Bread.  We always have this need, so to find the recipe, click on Ministries, Music and Worship.

Several are available in the administration room across from the copier.  Simply choose a shawl, locate the Prayer Shawl Notebook in the narthex, and note the number of the shawl you took for our records.
